There was a frost this morning,
Covering the green fields that surround us,
I walk through the icy terrain in a daze,
It feel like a dream within a dream
A cold beautiful vision.
We are Dragons;
The time of dragons has come in the land of the dragon
itself,
Smoke pours from our mouths and noses as we huff and
puff,
Fire warms our cockles as we curl up next to the radiator
frozen to the core,
Our claws are scratching at our chattering skin –
Be free, it begs, I want to be free.
There’s a mountain too,
A peak of clothes that we hide beneath to keep ourselves
warm,
Dizzyingly warm like tepid lava had been spread over
our veins.
We roar into the night as we tremble and crave,
We’re dragons I say,
And dragons are brave.
